“The veil between Heaven and Earth is the thinnest in the room of a laboring woman.”

This is a quote that I believe so deeply. I remember the first time I saw a baby being born. It was a holy spirit rush that I didn’t know was possible. I remember watching the mom thank God as she was contracting, and her providers praying in tongues through the process. It amazed me. This was a birth experience that I didn’t know was possible.

Even in my own labor with my son, we were rushed to have an emergency induction due to preeclampsia, and there was a peace so far beyond my own understanding. It was like I could reach out and tangibly grab Jesus’ face.

God has a way of showing himself when we reach a point of complete surrender.

It’s these stories that make birth photography so dear to my heart. What a privilege it is to be in the room where a new life is being brought into the world. My goal is to let the Lord lead me in taking the right photos for you. Photos that are raw, emotional, and beautiful.
